Heralded for her creativity and positivity, Stine is an NASM Certified personal trainer who inspires and challenges clients to achieve their ultimate personal fitness goals. For 10 years and counting, Stine trains students of all ages, levels, and physical conditions through barre, dance, sculpt, and yoga methods.

Stine has completed a 200-hour yoga certification, Barre certification, Pre- and postnatal certifications, in addition to sculpt, rebound, and jump rope teacher trainings, all perfect extensions of her experience as a professional dancer and degree in Dance and Movement Guidance from The Norwegian University College of Dance.

She has brought her expertise to esteemed NYC-based studios including Yogaworks, Alo Yoga, Lululemon studio,  Athleta, Stuytown Fitness, and Bodhi Sculpt by Jason Bayus, as well as to private home gyms. As times have changed, Stine meets the demand and offers Zoom/video instruction.

When Stine is away from the studio, she can be found enjoying the outdoors, visiting her native land of Norway, performing and dancing in projects, and teaching wedding dances to engaged couples. She has a special warm spot for helping people with cognitive disorders and helped run a nonprofit dance and music therapy outreach to patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Stine believes that engaging the physical body with mindfulness will help develop greater self-awareness and promote optimal health for everyone.

About

Apogee vitality Apogee means “the highest point in the development of something; a climax or culmination”. Vitality means “the state of being strong and active; energy.”

Work towards becoming the best version of you through movement. Pre-Postnatal Coaching

One on one training

Pre-and postnatal Coaching

As your prenatal coach, I can help you move safely through pregnancy, set realistic goals, adjust your program as you go through each trimester. I can answer questions related to your nutrition, and be your cheerleader on your way toward motherhood.  As your postnatal coach, I can help you understand how to set realistic goals, expectations, and boundaries for yourself and your family. After your six-week check-up, you might be cleared to start your workouts again, yet feeling unsure about how to, or want some assistance in finding safe ways of strengthening your body again after pregnancy.  Remember that postpartum lasts more than 6 weeks.

Personal Training:

Working 1:1 with a trainer can be useful if you just start out working out,  if you need some help with motivation to reach your fitness goals, or you are just coming back from an injury, sickness or perhaps having a baby. As your  trainer I can build a program that suits your needs and help you stay on track to reach your fitness goals.

Dance:

Whether you want to just have fun while working out, want to learn a new skill, prepare for a wedding or use dance as a therapeutic tool for a loved one with dementia, reach out and Stine can help customize for your needs.
